That pocket watch is neat, too. I hadn't heard of the Westclox Scotty brand before, so I looked it up and found a site with some interesting info about the four Westclox Scotty Pocket Watch Styles. Based on that info, and going by the shape of the pendant & the number font on the dial, it looks to me like yours could be a Style 2, manufactured between 1945 and 1959! (Style 2 watches without a raised center, it says, began production around 1949. I don't understand, though, why it states this style had a silver finish dial; both yours and the photos on the site appear to me to have off-white ones. ) Anyway, perhaps you know much more about its history than I do, but I thought that was interesting!
That's a great silver for the first one of the year . I remember when a lot of stores used to sell those pocket watches . It's certainly a different era now . Congrats !
