Hit the spot where I pulled my two seated a week back and found three more. This is the only spot I’ve been able to detect the last few weeks so ironically I ended up with five straight seated coins! These three are in good shape but the 1890 and 1891 are the best seated I have ever found! The 1890 looks like it was dropped the day it was minted! Not pictured are the two 1884 V nickels, 1883 V and four Indians I found. Ten super old coins in only a half day hunt!! But this is all about the seated finds!

Wow n wow. 5 seated in a week. A huge attaboy to you sir, You have a pretty good site, is it woods or fields ? Also the 1883 V nickel, does it have cents on the back or just the V ? You know the story don't you. Good luck and I hope that site produces some more goodies for you . HH Mark

Thanks Mark! Yep, I know the story. Haven’t checked yet if it has cents on the back. I think it will produce more, it’s a farm field site and the DEEP plow! My buddy found a trime at this site I there has to be a shield nickel somewhere also!!
