Alright. So I’ve dropped my ml 80 wireless headphones a number of times, but apparently this last time cracked the volume control switch inside and now the headphones won’t pair - they make 4 tones when turned on, but not the last two sounds before pairing…

Anyone know if I can just unsolder, and / or jumper that switch to get these to work? Is there a replacement switch part? The switch is pretty small.

May just buy the AKSONIC headphones off Amazon meanwhile….

Thanks!

The silver lining if there is one, is the headphones work when wired in, or through the wm08, so I’m not out completely. I’m going to tinker with the broken “switch” bit and see what further damage I can do  maybe.

Probably pull the trigger on the aksonic pair off Amazon - free returns worse case there.

Fixed!

Fixed the headphones…

Basically tore further apart the broken down volume switch seen on the left in the second photo above - to make sure it wasn’t making contact and now the phones work. Never used the down volume control on them anyway.

I’ll still buy those aksonic pair as a backup I think.
