at first it was frustrating(as per my post)
it was almost like the instruction manual and the sabisch book were a million pages written in Chinese!
so with the advise and help from E-trac experts on this forum I have come to understand the E-trac alot better. the more time I spend in the "field" the more I understand what the books and others are saying.
I know I am still missing some nice targets, but that will come with time and the ability to change the settings on the fly with the push of a few buttons!
things I still have to work on that may help me increase my finds:
the edge of the null
IDing when a coin and iron are sharing some space
need to be patient and slow my swing speed
mistakes I have made:
walking a considerable distance without a sound (left the pinpoint on)
would press noise cancel intead of quick mask, then have to stand still again
not checking my MD patterns and settings EVERYTIME I hunt, would cover a big area before I noticed I wasn't in the right settings.
thanks again to all those E-trac masters that have givin me advise, my advise to new E-trac owners...listen to them.
