Default A metal detecting secret that will help you find more old coins

Have you ever stopped and asked yourself why you aren’t finding more coins at those old farms and homesteads in the woods? Sometimes it just doesn’t make sense, the property you researched shows that people lived there 100 years ago and no one has been there in a long time. But, no matter how you detect it, old coins prove to be elusive.....

Default Ten new detectors you’ve probably never heard of

Last year we wrote a small article about TEN NEW DETECTORS YOU’VE PROBABLY NEVER HEARD OF

I was curious, has anyone used any of these, and if so, what your experience was?

I have the Troy Shadow X2. It is about 20 years old. Made in the USA via Tesero. In fact, I just was using mine this week in trash/junk areas. It's a mega coin machine. Light weight and simple to use. One of the best kept secret detectors. I would sell or trade my other ones, but not this one.

I have a Aka Sorex pro. It can literally eat batteries up in a couple of hours when ran wide open but the target depth can be unbelievably deep. I think it takes more learning than anything else I've used so far. It's a fun machine if you are in easy digging soil and are in a deep hole digging mood.
