Smile 926 cufflink value

Hi all! Recently found a gold cufflink on the beach with a stamp 926. Can someone shed some light on what this is? Any value? Is it gold?

Sterling silver is 925...

You sure it doesn't say 925?

Could be gold plated silver...

To know the value, you need to know the weight...

Definitely 926. It has a black round stone on front. For a cufflink it's heavy. What is 926?

Could mean 92.6% pure or 22K.

Take it to a local gold and silver dealer. Most I know will do a gold test for free.
