Really nice, makes you wonder what happened to the guy that hid his loot? He didn't come back or he didn't find it again if he did I reckon.

It was quite common for gold miners to hide their pokes at night to keep thieves from robbing them until they could get to town to the bank, saloon or house of pleasure. Some didn't make it through the night for a variety of reasons and their pokes remained hidden until some lucky person found the poke.

I would probably have hung up my detector after that. There would be very little left to dig that would top that.
