Anyway been out recently on the field and found my oldest (so far) coin.
It is a Silver coin found in Brandenburg Germany. Absolutely chuffed!
Otto IV 1238-1308 Otto IV lived from about 1238 to 1308. After the death of his father John I in 1266 and his uncle Otto III. in 1267 he joined the regency of Brandenburg with his two brothers and two cousins. In 1304, the last co-regent died, making Otto IV the sole ruler. Otto died childless. His successor was his nephew Waldemar.
