I was swinging the coil, as usual, while bushwacking deep in the woods between two early 1800 homestead cellar holes about a quarter mile apart. While walking I always tend to swing, with no expectations, but if you ain't swinging, you ain't finding... Heard a clean and clear signal in the mid-20's on the Equinox 800... Here's what I found, and the results of research that followed. I expect that it was dropped by a hunter. A 'lucky' find!

Happy hunting,
--Bert

Wow, that is a really cool find! That is about all Lindy used to get to Paris, a compass, fuel, and his airplane!

Congratulations on a neat and cool find. Wonder if whoever lost the compass/watchfob lost their way too.
