Default QXT to X-Terra 30

Hello:

I'm new to the forum. I recently sold my White's Quantum XT and ordered a Minelab X-Terra 30. I'm a novice in the metal detecting world and I was wondering if this was an upgrade.

Thanks,

Kelly

Hard question as the QXT was a sleeper in the Whites range. Some swear by them, some at them. The problem seemed to be that they just didn't work to well in some areas but in an area that suited with noise cancel off you did have a combination of depth, target sizeing and a nice forgiving sweep speed so you could detect as you wanted.
I think you will find that you will get better performance on more sites with your new machine. Perhaps you could let us all know how it all works out when you have hit several areas with the X-Terra.
