Earlier this week, I went through our yard some more. We have lots of junk from previous owners who rented the house. I have been able to practice in our yard and find items each time with no trouble. I started an album with some photos. So far the oldest item has been a 1919 Wheatie. The most valuable has been a cross pen with a replacement value in the $70 range. This past week is below. The front yard had a 1 Fen Chinese coin in it for some reason.

It's amazing what people carry in their pockets and lose.

I have a feeling it was a kid that lived here during the early 90s. I have a friend that knew the family that lived in our house. The coins I find were from either the 80/90s or the 60s. My guess is there are two generations that didn't care about coins much. I collected coins when I was growing up and probably lost many myself. Now in my 30s and I am trying to find all the fun stuff lost.
