I spent a week with my family and my siblings and their families. I didn't get a lot of time to hunt, but did manage a couple of days for two hours. Below are the results. The coolest find was the half dollar (my first!), and the most foreign find was a 1963 Canadian penny (bottom right).
It was great because I had a lot of support for my hobby, since my brother and sister both dig detecting (though they don't do much themselves). Made it fun to get out and come home to show my finds!
The ring gave me hopes of being silver, even though it's "adjustable", but those hopes were dashed when I tried to straighten the shank and found copper showing through the plating. It would have gone to my niece if it weren't for that!
