Got out early this morning- difficult site to pull any thing. Going real slow in the trashy areas-found this dime after 4 hours of hunting.I hadn't found any thing up until this find. Hunted another hour and a half and found a thimble and a 1906 r.r. date nail. Theres a couple scratches on the rev. of the coin--Yup I did those !! Tony AZ.:cool:

Extremely cool find! :thumbsup: That's the best condition I've ever seen for a Merc or any silver coin, especially one over 100 years old! :D It looks like mint condition!

That was the first year that Mercs were minted, which makes it an even cooler find. :mder:
 
Dang nice Merc!! I hope I can eventually pull one out of the ground that looks half that good....I gotta find one first ;)
