last week my uncle hit a local bay side beach that we go to just to kill time sometimes. ussually a bunch of trash and newer clad. the beach is only 200 ft wide. well hurricane sandy scooped to 2-3 feet off the top.
So my uncle hits the beach and starts getting a bunch of coins. all pre 1950. about 15 coins on his first visit and a sterling religious medal.
He has been back about 2 more times with the exact same result. all old coins. and medals.
So i went for an hour today went over some of his area and searched some new grids and i got 10 coins all 62 and older to include a 1928 merc.
so an old spot got real productive again. just thought i would share. it brought me out of my lil vacation from swinging. lol. kinda pumped again. lol

Sounds like you have a great spot. Since Sandy I have only hunted town ocean beaches and JB field 2 with not much luck. The ocean beaches are a mess.
