Rained out of work...first ring!

I got rained out at work today so I decided to go back to the small older tot lot I hit yesterday. I'm brand spanking new at this but I've already caught the bug

Anyhow, I was having fun finding pennies and trash in the rain and I decided to hit the edge of the small basketball court. Detector told me the target was in the plug, I sifted through it a bit and out pops my first ring!

99.9 percent sure it's a junker but I don't really care! I hope the pics load and thanks to everyone for the awesome forum. I've spent most of my evenings learning and laughing since I bought my machine a few weeks ago

Very nice finds. Since you're new, I have to tell you that for whatever reason, the edges of outdoor basketball courts are always, always, always loaded with coins. Good luck.

Probably Stainless Steel but none the less that is an AWESOME find.. I get my
Joy from finding Rings.. Percentages say ..you dig enough of them and Gold you will find..

Iv'e always found the perimeter of the basketball courts to be very productive too.

A big congrats on your first Ring !

A lot of the rings you'll find these days are made Stainless Steel or Tungsten.
Our son-in-law wears a Tungsten wedding band - a very durable metal.
I always enjoy finding rings, regardless of what they are made of !
