Backyard dig...

Now that I got my machine this weekend, I went out into the backyard. I was hitting targets every few feet! Our backyard isn't huge by any stretch of the imagination, but it'll take me a little while to it all scanned for goodies.

Found some modern clad, some weird random pieces of metal and this thing... any idea what this thing is? A button, maybe? It looks fairly old.
