Was out in the rain today giving it a go. I collected $9.03 in clad a junker ring and came across this 1999 Sunoco Millennium token. I have never seen these before. I see online there is a series of them. On the back of this one is the Emancipation Proclamation 1863. Although its not old its a first for this type of token for me.......HH

Nice find even if it isn't that old! I remember getting those when I bought gas.

That is sooo cool! I have one of those tokens! Not one found while metal detecting, but one from when they actually were giving them out. Great find!

I found 2 of those older ones this year, are they aluminum? And I found one of the newer ones from 2000 last week. I knew what the older ones were when I found them but that newer one tricked me, at first I thought it was a large cent then I wiped it off and thought it was an old presidential token ... then I was the date. Still pretty cool finds, congrats.
