Be careful...some had talked about the trouble when you open a GPP...that can be a nightmare to put back together, some were saying almost impossible to get back to working again...id say if your going to do this you might want to use a used one so you dont have to swollow the cost of a new one when you cant get it back together again

To take the board out is easy, the impossible task is to take the coil out, it is hot glued to the tip, so unless you cut it with a dremel you will never be able to take it apart.
