Default Silver ring is all the lake would give up

Went camping this last weekend to a big high mountain lake

This particular beach is a nice sandy crowded location. Too many people for my taste, stayed in the water during the crowded time and came back and hit the dry sand in the late evening when nobody was around!

Not a lot of targets in the water, went mouth deep and worked my way back to shore, not doing a good job at shoreline due to the crowds there.

Found a whopping 49Ę - 1 quarter, 2 dimes, 3 Cu cents and 1 Zn cent, an Allen wrench, a junk hand turquoise charm, and a few bits of trash/junk.

Later in the dry sand, got this nice 925 ring with what looks like abalone shell, a 9mm shell, a couple shower tokens, two hot wheels, $2.08 in clad and thatís about it.

Been awhile since Iíve found silver so it was welcome, no gold though, darn it!

Nice score, Jeff. I need to get a decent scoop and hit some watering holes while it's still hot...

Keep it up!

Thanks for Idíing that little piece Felix. Itís not silver, least it isnít marked and doesnít look like it. Itís like it was on a wire strand or something.

Thanks Jeff. Thereís time left for sure, I ended up with a medium Whites hexscoop, itís a good scoop but probably should have bought a stealth this one does well in wet and dry sand, not so good in hardpacked clay.

Congrats on the ring! More than I've found my last few times out. Silver is silver and a ring puts you on the board.

Thank you, and I hear you Numil. Silvers been scarce this year for some reason... hoping that changes soon, plus add some gold too
