Ring made from a find

Found the VC a few weeks ago and just had to have something done with it. Finally after digging through all my jewelry found this ring (had a tanzanite in it) and had the VC put in. I love it, and it's the only one like it! Anybody else like creating jewelry from theirs finds?

He said it was a VERY nice diamond about a quarter carat. Figured it came off an old men's "onyx" ring. I'm really pleased with it, if I hadn't done this with it, it probably would just be sitting in a drawer or something.
 
That's turned out cool, Very Cool!

I have not had anything made from my finds as of yet. Still have my gold and silver finds for some reason.

Thanks Mud, I don't like run of the mill jewelry, so when I can I have stuff made up for myself. And this will always remind me of that weird signal that I dug.....:bling:
