18k tribal pendant in wet sand?

The ring around the top reads 18k and it seems to be a pendant of some sort.. the design is certainly intriguing... some of it looks handcrafted, at least half of it. It looks like a bird inside a heart to me. Weighs 1.3 grams.. Pretty cool!
