Have you looked at Radio Shack? On line electronics parts store, should have what you want. Just Google it, and see what pops up. Call Garrett, and see if they will tell you what they have or where you can acquire the parts. Good Luck.:shock:

Tried radio shack, eBay, amazon, parts express, mono price, etc.

I read somewhere there was someone who made the coil cables. Possibly sunray?

I have a pm out to Ron who does the meters as well.

Was hoping someone had a link saved from a previous project....

Are you hip mounting?

Hip mount in a lexan case.

I want to be able to switch between dry and wet hunting.

I will be installing cable clams and dont want to dedicate headphones or a coil.

I can get you the part numbers and places to purchase but you will have to assemble all yourself...

Forgive me, I haven't even done my 'Hello' post..

But Oldbeechnut, thank you so much for those links. Been looking everywhere for a decent price on that curly-cord, my home-made headphones are getting closer!

Welcome to the FMDF

You can go shorter, they offer shorter sizes also. I use the 10 because you can cut it to the size you like and use a heat gun to straiten it out at each end. And good luck on your HP's
