I have personally talked to one of the Tatham's and that the treasure is sill out there. As far as the second cypher it's key i am told has something to do with a march.

Are they codes or ciphers? Makes a huge difference in regards to the techniques used to zolve.

In the book he says that they are similar to the beal cypher which is a substitution cypher.
