Woman beats man with detector...anyone we know?

Is this anyone we know here? When I first heard the story, Mud-puppy came to mind...I don’t know why. Then I read the article and saw that this happened in FL. Seems about par for the course for a typical FL news story.

Slightly used metal detector. Only used once (for a beating). Needs new coil.

Guy says she "struck him twice in the head with the round, disc-shaped sensor". 1) I'm guessing it was his detector, but those were not his words.
2)Of course she hit him twice. She was trying to get a repeatable signal.
3)What model is the detector? equi-"knocks"
4)She needs to turn down the sensitivity.
5)Hey Mud-Puppy, here's another reason to bag your coil...and put some padding in there.
