I haven’t posted for awhile because really not a whole lot to be showing you guys. I normally beach hunt and have only found one gold bracelet on the year. A couple years ago I discovered a freshwater swim site that I believe hasn’t been hit very often but unfortunately it is about a 40 minute drive. I recently retired so I decided I would make the drive yesterday. There was absolutely no one there so after hunting the dry sand for a bit I decided to get in the water just above knee deep. There were Sooooooo many signals and 90% that are in the gold range... it was ridiculous. But I decided I would dig every one of them and eventually I would pull some of the good stuff. The pictures are from the last 2 days of hunting. I spent about 2 hours each day. The junk picture is only a portion of all the junk dug but persistence eventually paid off. Yesterday I found the titanium ring and about 3 bucks in clad (not pictured) I knew there had to be gold amongst all the junk so I went back today and the second signal I dug (14 on nox) out pops a beautiful 14K ring! I was pretty happy, haven’t found gold in awhile. About 30 min later I found the Tungsten ring, beautiful ring and extremely heavy! Anyway I have a feeling this place is gonna keep me busy for awhile, and it goes to show you that persistence will eventually pay off!!
