Anybody going to jump on this? Any stock market players here?! Right now I'm running some mock stock markets on my own just to see how I would initially fare in the stock world. In 3 days I am up $100 had I bought in on my selected stocks!

Wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole. 
Too risky for my taste (and age).
Instead, I am what is called a "Dividend Growth Investor". I buy stock only from companies that have a history of paying dividends and which have a good 5 year history of growing the dividends.

If you want in on an IPO, you better have a hefty trade account. Joe Schmoe usually can't get in on them. Market shares and well-selected mutual funds. I'm up 24% this year.
