I've been finding tons of old coins from this one hilltop past few months.. this week I upgraded to a new m.detector, and I'm finding all the deeper stuff.. I'm haveing a major hard time trying to i.d. these items.. I've never seen coins like these.. only reason I'm figuring there coins is because I can see dates on most of these pieces ... Mostly all were dug in the silver area on the m.d. as far as the dates I'm unsure if it's 13-14th or 17-18th century coins.. most are the size of a m&m or shaped as a figure of a person or animal.. I modified my cell phone tonight with some old zoom lenses and these little coins have amazeing images on them.. hopefully someone here has seen these things around before.. I'll post a few and leave a link to my folder we're I'm storeing the better detailed pics ..I never realized how hard it is to take micro pictures..the smallest round ones are 1/2 or 0.5 of a gram gram .. 3 are iron I think also and 2 are stones that I found diiggin these. If I should post a single item at a time with weight and measurement .. let me no. This link is just a bunch pics if the items https://photos.app.goo.gl/HEL6tyVrxYkZwXAYA

Interesting finds, though I could not see any dates or what might be semblance of dates on the object, though some of them did appear to have 'rifling' grooves on them? Could they be bullets from a gun range or such? But being on a hill top would negate that? Curious to find out what these are as well.

Cheers

The only thing I see that says coin is the "one cent", definitely see a rifled slug in there an old crusty zincoln and several pieces of melted aluminum, hence the silver report.

The site that I'm on, it is roughly 500 foot square large hill un built woods.. in a large city just north of Boston..along with my mystery silver colored items I'm needing help iding..i alsohave a rather large pile of either blank planchet or 24mmish box of coins that I can't ID ..I haven't found not one so far even similar size or weight that I can read.. . As far as ideal boat coins I found quite a few. Those coins averaging either 80s or f earlly 1700-1900 and and the oldest is 2 ivin the terrible coins oldest is 1458 .. I'm also finding tons of chisels I think Rock chisels.. I'm guessing that rock chisels because I'm finding them either in good shape or beaten down to nothing ..and also a couple I found broken in half in boulders.. he at least one shiny unidentifiable coin in hand.. actually heading back up there right now for a little bit..

And I'm finding chissels under them a few times too actually I got one laying around here somewhere he is one of them. Here's half one and the rest is on this rock . You can actually see chisel marks where its cracked in t
