Received my best Christmas present by far this year, and Christmas hasn't happened yet! Got permission to detect a 16 acre property, 4 of which is farm field. The house that stands right now was built in 1770, but the homeowner says that's not the original house. The original house was set out behind his house in the woods, and is now just a cellar hole. He grew up in the home and can't recall anyone ever detecting it! Still kinda in shock, now if the weather will just cooperate!

There will definitely be some pics when I eventually get out there! My first permission on site like this. I usually just hit local parks or places everyone else has been to. Definitely very excited, and it's an open invite, so I'm hoping to clean the place out. Haha!
 
That's always good news , a couple old sites that will probably hold some oldies, congrats and keep us posted on your finds. HH and good luck.
