Short Dive Today. VERY SHORT!

Went to the Detroit river today to see how warm it was. Well not warm enough for me to spend a whole tank of air in yet. I spent a little more than a half tank. Got a clad dime which is very rare there, a king George 1947 penny a key and a swim locker tag and a few pieces of junk. Water was dirty, cold and high.

I am going to try an inland lake soon. It might be a lot warmer and cleaner. I could see about a foot at the most.

Sometimes we just have to get our fix, I'm hoping the water stays cold down here for at least another month. Less looters...

Your water is chilly for sure...low 40's...

Thanks Irons. I have my sights on one about three hours north of me but still on this side. Going Tuesday. Shallows are void of targets. Hopefully no diver has hit it.

Nope, another half dive today and no gold. So I am going to count the two half dives as my first dive. Water is still COLD. A sinus infection doesn't help the situation either.
