I Don't Find Military Items Often. Found a Cool One Today.

Was hunting a house built in the 40s today that I have hunted before. This was the first hunt with the small 6' coil on the 800. Managed to pick out a wheat penny mixed with some rusty nails and this neat little Air Force pin. I need to do a little research on the GOC, but I'd guess this was from the 40s or 50s based on the coins I have found around it. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Looks like your pin is from 1950-1958, the second iteration of the GOC. The wiki site has a picture of the same pin!
