Okay, I have been dying to try out the F2 that I picked up. I finally got the chance today. I had ten minutes to kill waiting for school to get out so off to the park I went. I have been trying to learn the different tones on the F2 (Multiple tones is new to me. I am used to "it beeps", I dig). Anyway, I got a nice high tone. Thinking it was a clad quarter, I went for it. It turned out to be a rather generic "Gothic" fingernail ring. It had been in the ground a while as all the chrome plating is gone. I had never seen one before, and my teen daughter had to tell me what it was. I have a feeling that I might not ever dig another fingernail ring again.

Much better than a zinc penny. It is now in my daughter's possession...I wasn't given much of a choice. :cool:

I did a quick "Google search" and some of them are actually quite intricate...especially the sterling silver ones.

Sure wouldn’t wanna run into the chic that was sporting that nail,or talon. Well, maybe,hafto think on that..Great find,never saw one.. Congrats Turtlefoot

First time I seen one of those. A set of those and some brass knuckles and you could be well protected. Imagine the trees you could climb. haha
