I had bought my son a BH junior this spring. It works but can be a little frustrating. I recently had a thought about reducing a full size model. I decided on a Compadre. This worked out reallly well because I was able to simply remove the middle rod and move the cuff forward by drilling two holes. I was initially concerned about the excess cable on the short shaft but it seems to be working just fine. I haven't weighed it but I believe it weighs less than the junior and is no longer either. Best part is, nice spare detector for myself.:lol:

I'm sure it is just me.......but when I first saw that pic I thought it was a hand holding a mini detector! :?::?:
 
Cool as all get out!!!! I seen one made into a hand sized pin pointer on steroids model also. Great machine, just ask Pennyfinder. The U Max Kid.:cool:
 
From personal experience, NEVER get rid of it! You'll always wish you hadn't.


I've sold 2 and regret it each time.
