Congrats on an amazing day. Not many people will experience 3 early silver coins in one day. I'm no history expert but the colonial period ended at the start of the American Revolution (1775). A lot of people think of anything early 1800's as being colonial but that would be post colonial. Not taking anything away from your amazing find though.

Incredible that you can find a coin that old on the surface. Does the ground get turned over periodically? How?
