Yes. Some changes are global and some are local. The manual details which changes are which.

You can download the manual and read it before you order. That is exactly what I have done. That way when it shows up at my doorstep, I already have a head start and go detecting instead of reading.

When you turn the machine off and then turn it on at a later time, the last operating settings that you used will have been saved so operation will continue at those settings unless you change them.
