How much does quality in headphones matter

I had an Ace 350. There are no tone nuances with an Ace, but you will notice a nice increase in battery life using headphones rather than the external speaker.

Those Garrett Easy Stow phones worked well on my Ace.

If you detect on windy salt water beaches you need good ear muffs to block out the wind. A lot of people modify their headphones with the Peltor mod to block out wind noise.
