what part of the country in united states and what county or city. I know there are places north of rhyolite Nevada.

Thats a great find! Reading about nugget hunting was one of the subjects that got me into metal detecting, even though im far from anywhere i could do that kind of thing, sort of a retirement dream of mine.

That's a cool find. If I had access to a place like that I'd be doing exactly what John~Edmonton does wheeling around that rig
