I am new to the hobby but very excited to get started. Mainly started for relic hunting but coins seem like fun too so I'll be trying that out. I grew up here in Virginia within a few miles of the Petersburg campaign so Civil War history has been part of my life since I can remember. Now I hope I'm not too late to find some good relics since this area has been scoured for so many years by detectorists.
