The Treasure Hunters of Dodge club got out today and found some neat stuff. I was very impressed that in a well hunted tot lot the Equinox 800 hit hard on a chain I thought was probably silver because it looked gold but funny. Got home and tested it and it pass 10k, 14k, and 18k. No clasps just a small chain pretty impressive.

Wow, good going. I found a one inch piece of delicate gold chain once at about 4 inches but only because it was in the same hole as a small heart shape pendant and 10k ladies gold ring.[emoji4] Rang up 14-16 on my Whites mx5, the three items total that is.

I hope its real for you, but there are metals that falsely pass the gold acid tests.

Nice save Detector! It's not easy digging all those foil signals in a tot lot, there's usually lots of them. Sure paid off for you this time, Nice work!
