Oops! I just noticed this was the beach section, I found the Morgan in the dirt.

I can see why she took it.. I would have taken it as well but sold it

I got out 13 times to the beaches this year... did a lot more dirt hunting than I did beach hunting and enjoyed the dirt...

Early in the season found the "seagull" wax impression ring... love the old stuff over fresh drops...

I didn't get out as much this year as in recent years and the times I did, the gold did a good job of avoiding me. However, I did have a great hunt back in February (after a massive storm) and found a big 14K gold chain and medallion along with hundreds of other targets that day.

1 carrot but its chipped :( cost to fix is 3 to 5 hundred and will take it under a carrot but it appraised for 8 gs as is and will appraised for 10 once fixed

Not worth repairing. You will never get that kind of money out of it. Maybe a bit higher if you sell it privately but not that much unless you find a willing buyer. Appraisals are only for insurance if stolen. Not worth the paper they are printed on if you are selling it. Experience is the key. If you can get over 2 grand for it, take the money and run.
