I'm always so excited when I pull up to the park and get my gear together, put my knee pads on and head out to the field...today was no different, but alas, nothing special to show for my 6 hours of fun in the sun today.

Here's what most of my hunts look like....No rings, no Silver, No Gold...but lots of fun non the less...

If I hear it, I dig it...smiles..seriously....if I "know" it's a pull tab, and I get a good signal from an X pattern, I dig it anyway....if there is anything sketchy about the signal I will move on...

Someone once said that you have to dig 300 pull tabs for every gold ring. I'm overdue for my fourth gold ring but finally have enough pull tabs to recycle and buy a nice one. Good luck and enjoy the totally "normal" feeling beacuse that was a great day digging.
