Beach Trip

We just returned from 4 days at the beach. didnt get to detect as much as i would have like. the wife had the trip planed pretty tight. did get out 3 times just around the condo. ended with 6.78 in clad, a .925 ring and a deutsche mark. didnt get to go in the surf since my excalibur didnt make it before we left for the trip. the dfx worked beautiful in the wet and dry sand was running the jewerly beach program kind of hot with no trouble at all. the only time i had problems is when i let the scoop get too close to the detector.



the condo should have paided me to clean the sand LOL this is the trash i collected from one trip



the biggest find of the trip was while we were deep sea fishing the wife hung into a 7 foot nurse shark that weighed between 150-200lbs. it took an hour with all of us on the boat taking turns to bring the shark to the surface. after everone took pictures we cut him loose. about an hour later one of the guys hung into a 5 foot bull shark.



even though i didnt get to detect very much we had a great time.
