using fisher F5 DD coil with time ranger IV?

is this possible? time ranger seems to go pretty deep with 8 inch concentric. figure I could get 7-8 inches on a dime with the DD. will this work? it's actually the first texas titan 9000 but I am pretty sure they are the same thing.
 
If you have a newer F5, the connector is a screw on type. The Titan is a push on type. They sell a DD coil with push on connectors meant for the first versions of the F2 and F4 units. Hope this helps.
 
The F5 doesn't come with a DD coil, it's an elliptical concentric... unless you meant an after market coil...
 
The F5 operates at 7.8 kHZ and the Bounty Hunters operate at 6.9 kHZ. If you want a DD coil for the Time Ranger/ Titan 9000 you will need to get the 11" coil for the F2/F4 with the push connector.
