Hey crew!

I know some of you probably already know this, but I have had trouble finding aerials and old maps online of my city that I live in.
I ended up looking on the library of congress (just google search for the addy) and chatted with a librarian who emailed me 10 pages of historic maps from my city from 1911.

They are made by Sanborn Map Company and they mapped out city water and fire hazards. I have the whole old map from the river to where I work which is about 12 city blocks worth. It is crazy how many old stores and stuff were around and now are empty lots. I have been digging in an empty lot and found today that it used to be an old tailor/barber shop and I know exactly where it was now to narrow my search.

Greenville only had a population on 9500 in 1911 (population now is close to 100K) so i'm sure some of you guys that live in a smaller city might be able to find yours. Definately gonna hit the F2 hard in that lot after work.
