Your button is in great shape. Did you find any more relics around it? I would look around that area a little more just to see. HH

I almost hate to bring it up.... but in the interest of knowing what you have... have you checked the backmark in Tice or Albert's book to be sure it's CW era. I ask because I have a gorgeous 98% gilt staff officers button that turned out to be late 1800's and definitely post-war. I can check Tice later if you would like me to.
