Hey guys! Found this in an old park that used to have baseball fields (now it's rugby- how times change). Within a 20 X 50ft area I found 3 mercury dimes dated 1935, 1945, 1945. I also found this thing. The coin appears to be a token. Maybe a gambling token? What thinks ye?

Thanks for the guesses guys. After a lot of Google time still no luck with I.D.
Time to ask a live person I guess.

I have a token that has that generic design on one side. the side opposite the M's. No help with it tho...

What you have there is a candy token leftover from when M&M Mars was M&M&M Mars.
They changed cause it was hard to fit all those m's on the little candies.
Or, I could be full of crap.

I always wondered what Sears really did with Roebuck, also.

Come on lets be sensible!!

Its a very old coin.

Maybe Medieval Money!!

Brass Token

Interesting token............found several similar to that one. The 3 "M's" might possibly represent the Roman Numeral "M", which in that case might represent 3,000. Just a thought.

The three Ms probably stand for Mark Master Masons....

Known as a Mark Token...

I think that token may be a Hoffman Mint game token. I found one very similar myself in a park here in Madison. Here is the link to their site http://www.hoffmanmint.com/ . The token on the right has the same pattern on the back which is why I think it may be from the same place. Still a neat find though. Hope that helps.
