This seems to be brass as it is shiny yellow where there are dents or scratches in it. About 11 inches long as the paper beneath it is 11.5. It tapers and the bottom screws into something. Was painted white with finger prints in it but I scraped most of the paint off. Thinking maybe an antennae of some sort???
