A BEAUTIFUL post-Medieval silver brooch, which is likely to have belonged to a
wealthy island resident 500 years ago, and a hoard of Bronze Age axes, dating from
the time of the Egyptian pharaohs were just two of the finds recently unearthed by
Isle of Wight metal detector enthusiasts, a treasure inquest heard on Thursday last
week.

Hey Alan -

Great stuff to find there! I've been telling my wife for years that the UK would be a great place to MD. Its got so much history & its a lot smaller land mass to search. We've got the history here as well but the old stuff here isn't metal which makes it harder to find.

H.H. all!

Best regards, Bart
