last couple of months of mding in lake Jackson and some of the surrounding parks in the area, was able to find one gold ring but had to wrestle a alligator for it. enjoy pic

:dingding: Congrats on the gold! My favorite State Park that I've camped with my Scouts in Florida is Highland Hammocks. Love it!!
 
That Gils been plundering there for years...... he dont leave ya much Mike. Doesnt help thise lakes have risen some. Good looking finds. Schools out soon.... beaches will be full.

yeah! actually both of us have been plundering together I've been finding the rings and he's been finding all the knives and lots of other good junk. by the way how heavy is that trex scoop that you use been thinking about buying one if its light enough
 
Mike I use a starvr scoop. Its smaller than the Trex which is much heavier. I highly his scoop. I use a hoe handle. The Trex also has 1/4 holes I prefer the 1/2 it just cleares better.
 
Hey Mike, glad to see you getting out and picking up some yellow,,,,,been real tough around here with rough waves,,,,,,right where you attempt to dig is like a 3 or 4 foot wall of waves,,,,,,:no:congrats on a nice melter,,,,,,GL HH
