Went out on Saturday for 2 hours. Hit three different locations. Found exactly $5.00 (surprised me that it added up perfectly, but I suppose it happens!)
5 rings, a nice sterling silver locket, and a beautiful hematite geode keychain.
The coin ring was a surprise. Found in the tot-lot bark. Took a while to figure out what coin it was. New-style nickel.
One of the rings was in frozen ground, and I mangled it getting it out, but all the other rings were in soft mud-like ground. The frozen ground was near a wall where the sunlight never hits. Was a good reminder that it's still winter!
Fun hunt, still waiting for the gold.
