A lot of the parks here are heavily hit by metal detectorists, so when I found the war nickel (my first), the 1954 wheat penny (which I didn't have yet in my wheat penny collection), plus the 925 silver ring, I considered it a banner day!

That was a nice hunt! Congrats on pulling that treasure from a hard hit public area.

Nice ring, and everyone loves silver. And I like finding war nickels, even though there is no nickel in them. Two silver nickels have more silver in them than one silver dime. I believe :D
Keep up the hunting. Good luck

Great finds, congrats on the war nickel and the 925 ring is real cute. Not bad for a hunted out park! WTG:cool:

Congrats, that's a nice looking ring. It brightens up any day when you find a bit of silver.

GL, and may every hole meet your goal!

Congrats on your double silver hunt!!

I would love to find such a pretty ring for my daughter, seems most of the silver rings I find a on the ugly side lol...

Real nice finds. The parks here don't allow us to MD. Some day that will change and there will be a big backlog. Until then....?
